Hello from the MixMap Clan!

MixMap
High quality, lovingly made, free to end user printed maps of Dundee and Broughty Ferry — produced annually to celebrate and promote the very best in local businesses, attractions, and more. MixMap is a shining example of what happens when a community comes together. With the support of local businesses, attractions, and organisations, we’re able to showcase our city, help people explore more, and support Dundee’s excellent and diverse street-level economy.

The Dundee Student Map
MixMap began over 15 years ago as a way to connect new students in Dundee with the city’s best independent businesses. Since then, our student edition has become a staple of student life — pinned up in thousands of student flats, helping new arrivals feel at home and instantly connected to great local spots. This version is presented as a rolled-up poster and hand-delivered to student accommodation and other key locations across the city.

The Dundee Tourist Map
For nearly a decade, we’ve worked closely with front-of-house teams and accommodation providers to perfect our tourist edition of MixMap. This traditionally folded version helps tourists, delegates and visitors navigate the city with ease. It elevates the point of contact at reception desks, boosts visitor satisfaction, and encourages guests to explore more of Dundee & Broughty Ferry during their stay.

Why Print Still Matters
Across all our projects, we have a high attention to detail with our in-house graphic design, and we support talented local illustrators. We believe in the power of print — there’s nothing quite like holding a beautifully crafted, physical map in your hands. We only print on fully sustainable paper, and while we hope you’ll hang on to your MixMap, it’s also 100% recyclable.
